Duo recording with Anthony Braxton

This past Saturday I recorded a 2-CD set with the great Anthony Braxton. They are the first of 12 "Syntactical Ghost Trance" duo CDs that Braxton has planned for us, but these first two may be released separately before we've recorded the rest. This was a really special experience, and I'm still walking on air.

Dear Anne, we met at the end in September and December 2005 at Wesleyan University when Anthony's 60th birthday celebrations took place. I vividly remember your concert at the library's entry hall in duo with Carl. Nice work. I just came across your announcement of the duo recordings with Anthony. In order to work on my writings re Anthony's music I would be extremely thankful if you would be so nice to send me a copy of the duo recordings? If possible though. I will not share this music with others, promised. Also, if you should have by any change, the music of your duo with Carl at the libray, I would welcome a copy too.
My postal address is Hugo de Craen, University of Antwerp, IOB, Prinsstraat 13, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium.
Success in all your endeavours and keep me informed about your activities.

Hugo - I don't have the recording yet, but if it's OK with Anthony, I'll send it to you when I get it. Of course there is always the chance he might not want anyone to have it until it's released, but I'll let you know. There was no audio recording of the duo Carl and I did last year, but there was a DVD that we should be able to get ahold of at some point, so I'll let you know about that too. Thanks so much for contacting me! I will be in touch.
